The ground handling procedures for an aircraft need to be completed very quickly. There are lots of vehicles, machines and people working at the same time to load and unload the aircraft. The time pressure puts a lot of strain on everyone involved, increasing the risk of operating errors, damage or even accidents. DOLL®'s top priority has always been to ensure maximum safety and convenience for your operators, passengers, cargo and aircraft.

Our safety features and operating assistance systems are unparalleled – and of course they comply with all international guidelines, such as EN, IATA, ANSI and SAE.

Precise vehicle positioning

It is crucial that the vehicle is positioned precisely beneath the aircraft door. The images captured by the platform camera in the driver's cab give your driver the perfect helping hand for this task.

Approaching the aircraft safely

When our vehicles are between 8 and 0.5 m away from the aircraft, they offer a safe slow-running mode. Within 0,5 meters distance to the aircraft the adjusted speed of the platform extension (snail speed) ensures a safe non touching docking to the aircraft door.

Double protection

When you're working close to an aircraft, any wrong moves can cause costly damage. That's why we rely on numerous preventative safety mechanisms. For example, the superstructure can only be raised when the support legs are extended and the doors are closed.

Everything in view: 360° camera

The images captured by the camera are transmitted in real time to a screen in the driver's cab. If required, the system can also be fitted with an integrated black box. This will provide you with key evidence in the event of any damage – and prevent any unlawful damage claims by your airlines.
